Companhia brasileira de petróleo e gás procura profissional para integrar sua equipe de trabalho de subsuperfície para atuar com estratégia de exploração, avaliação de bacias, aquisição de dados e modelagem geológica.
Atribuições
- Integral member of a subsurface team working closely with other disciplines and playing a key role in geological modeling, data acquisition, basin evaluation and exploration strategy;
- Responsible for geological input into exploration fairway identification, resource and reserve estimation;
- Interact with government agencies including BDEP, ANP, IBAMA as well as academic institutions;
- Integrate well and seismic data, build appropriate geological models;
- Provide geological reconnaissance in the assessment of Brazilian sedimentary basins;
- Gather, organize and distribute data from BDEP and other geological institutions.
Perfil
- B. Sc. in Geology;
- 8-12 years experience in exploration and development work in the oil industry;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Knowledge and skills of geological work stations;
- Experience in carbonate, clastic and deepwater sedimentology;
- Knowledge of Brazilian sedimentary basins, tectonics, specifically offshore Atlantic Margin;
- Application of petrophysical modeling, well log interpretation and regional well correlation;
- Understanding of basin modeling, source rock burial history, migration and trapping events;
- Ability to create detailed graphical presentations;
- Experience with Petra software, loading of digital data, construction of maps and cross-sections.
